We also receive, collect, and store any information you choose to enter on our website or to provide us in any other way. If you sign up as a member, we collect your email address, location (country only), and password (encrypted). When your membership account is approved, the website will generate an editable username for you (based on the first part of your email address). We collect any of the following voluntary data which you subsequently choose to add to the website: profile picture, first name, last name, phone number, second email address, and any text and uploads added to your ‘About’ section, forum posts, and forum comments.

Who can see your information?

The CIRCuiTS Team will be able to see all data mentioned above apart from your password. Other registered forum members will only be able to see your profile picture, username, and text and uploads you add to your ‘About’ section, forum posts, and forum comments. If you disclose your contact or other personal information in these areas of the site you do so at your own risk, and we do not accept any responsibility if something goes wrong as a result of your choice to do so. Members are required to abide by our Forum Rules which are displayed in every forum area and which include guidelines regarding the type of information permitted for users to add to the site.

How do we collect information?

Your IP address and session information are collected on entry to any page of the site. Your email address, location (country only), and password (encrypted) are collected after pressing ‘Sign Up’ on the sign-up page accessed when you first enter the Members Forum page. Your username is generated when your sign-up request is approved, and it is editable on your account page(s). Your profile picture, first name, last name, phone number, second email address, and text and uploads in your ‘About’ section are collected via form fields and upload boxes/links on your account page(s). Forum posts and comments are collected via each post’s edit page and comment fields.
